Tabarka began as an adventure: the search for an elusive tile in a centuries-old basement shop in Istanbul. This journey has taken us back to our cultural roots while exploring the most fascinating corners of the world. We find our inspiration in the random, in the most daily commonplace, and in the most unexpected moments.
After years of specializing in terracotta, in the spring of 2014, we opened our doors to new possibilities and new materials. We ventured outside the world of clay and glaze into the equally noble world of antiqued woods and very special stones. This expanded assortment continues to elevate our exploration. What can we say? We're a cement tile company with a passion for color!
20 years ago we started our venture into the construction materials world, but it wasn't until 2014 when we decided our world wasn't colorful enough. Inspired by the traditional cement tiles of Europe, we began our quest to bring vibrant tiles to the American market.
Today, we have two fully stocked warehouses in NJ and TX, allowing us to cater to the entire US. We find inspiration in nature and have a dedicated team of talented designers creating exquisite patterns in a rainbow of shades. We strive to think outside the box and constantly push creative boundaries in hopes of creating exceptionally unique collections aimed to delight.
All of our tiles are designed in the US and handcrafted in Vietnam.
